Special Instructions to Applicant: Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice to teach in the Legal Studies Program. This position is on-site and requires face-to-face instruction.Minimum requirements:1.Earned an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited institution.2.Earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA accredited law school and knowledge of the paralegal profession.3.Licensed to practice law in the United States and a member in good standing with a state bar association, preferably the Alabama State Bar. If not a current member of the Alabama State Bar, eligible for membership in the Alabama State Bar.4.Experience practicing law in the United States.5.Experience supervising paralegals (please explain in cover letter).Candidates must show evidence of potential for excellence in teaching and an established research program or ability to develop one, as well as a commitment to community and professional service. Our Legal Studies Program is ABA-approved.
